On the 13 November 2025 the Bill returned to the Commons following its Third Reading in the House of Lords on 10 November 2025.
The Bill will support the delivery of the Government’s Plan for Change milestones of building 1.5 million safe and decent homes in England and fast-tracking 150 planning decisions on major economic infrastructure projects by the end of 2029. It will also ensure that clean energy projects are built as quickly as possible. The Bill returned to the House of Commons for consideration. There were 9 amendments selected for debate and votes:
