I was pleased to attend the Inauguration Mass at St Mary’s the Mount Catholic Church on Sunday 10 May 2026. This was a celebration of the first Catholic Church built after the reformation in 1827 and is the oldest Catholic Church in the West Midlands. St Mary’s the Mount is 200 years old. The Mass

The Prorogation of Parliament is the end of a Session and this session ran from July 2024 to April 2026. The Commons is summoned to the Lords where the leader of the Lords reads out the Government’s end of session report and the remainder of the Bills which were passing between the Lords and Commons
