Charity trip to Pakistan by MIAT

On the 11th February, Ian Robertson, Mohammed Aslam and the Mayor of Walsall will be visiting Kasguma in Kashmir, Pakistan with a Charity which helps vulnerable children.

The trip includes visits to around 10 schools and a new hospital project. The group will be delivering letters written by Walsall school children, addressing assemblies of children about dental awareness and will perform dental checks on the children.

They will also be visiting the Cleft Lip and Palate Treatment Hospital. Ian, a dentist will be assessing and treating new and previous patients and training the local dentist, Ayshea, who will be carrying out the assessment and school visits. The Group have also arranged free cataract operations and will be visiting the limb replacement centre.

They will be providing invaluable medical help to those who are in desperate need of it and their efforts will certainly improve the quality of life of the children.
