There was a meeting Arab ambassadors on Tuesday 10 March 2026 to hear from the Ambassadors about the situation in the Middle East.
Present at the meeting was the Ambassador for Jordan, Dr Manar Al Dabbas, who said that there was a comprehensive annexation of the West Bank. The Ambassador for Palestine, Dr Husum Zomlot said it is a volatile and dangerous situation and the Arab world condemns the attack on Arab states and sovereignty and international law must be respected. The Ambassador for Saudi Arabia, Prince Khalid bin Bandar, was also present and the Ambassador for Lebanon, Farah Berri, (left) made an impassioned speech for her country and passed around the picture of Beirut, (below left). The Ambassador said 800,000 people have been displaced and 486 people have been killed. The Ambassador for Egypt, Ashraf Swelam, said that one country cannot achieve security at the expense of all the other countries in the region. The Ambassadors are working together to bring stability to the region.
