Valerie visited the Funfair Day at St Mary’s the Mount Parish on Saturday 10th September. The Funfair Day was organised by The Daughters of Divine Love in order to raise money for charity.
The Daughters of Divine Love is a worldwide religious order of Catholic nuns, professionally qualified in different fields. They work locally to support the community as well as delivering parishioner services.
Valerie said: “I was delighted to attend the funfair day and to meet the organisers and those people who supported the day and work so tirelessly to support our community. At this time of Government cutbacks voluntary and charity organisations have become more important than ever, and I am happy to show my support to the Daughters of Divine Love.”
