Valerie calls for Justice for Moses

On Wednesday 3 December 2014 Valerie called for justice for Moses in support of Amnesty International’s Campaign.

Valerie said:

“Moses was only 16 when he was arrested by the Nigerian Army, shot in the hand, beaten on the head and back, and then charged with stealing mobile phones.”

“When Moses was 24 he was sentenced to death by hanging. Moses had his finger and toe nails torn off with pliers to force him to sign ‘confessions’ which resulted in his conviction. Moses is currently on death row.”

“I support Amnesty Internationals calls for Nigeria to commute Moses death sentence and investigate the other claims of torture by the police in Nigeria.”
