On Friday 14 March 2014, Valerie visited King Charles Primary School in Bentley.
Valerie said:
“I was delighted to visit King Charles Primary School. I met with the Head of School, Miss Kate Magner and the Principal of the Bentley Federation Mr Rod Dickson. The Bentley Federation also includes Bentley West Primary School which I visited last year.”
“The Children were very engaged with their work. Each class had an ambassador who welcomed me to the classroom and told me about what they are learning. The dedication of the staff clearly shone through during my visit. I wanted to let the children know about Parliament and how to visit it. I presented the Scholl with some information that the Education Service provides for Schools.”
