Valerie visits local pharmacy in Caldmore Green

On Friday 19th November Valerie visited the Midcounties Co-operative Pharmacy in Caldmore Green.  Local pharmacists highlighted how pharmacies could continue to help improve services available under the National Health Service.  In particular the discussion focused on the creation of community pharmacies that could reduce the pressure on GPs.

Valerie Vaz MP said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.  I am very impressed by the work done by this local pharmacy and its connection with the local community.  They have a great track record in helping people to stop smoking.  Their success rate is 90% and I would like to see them continue this work.”
