Walsall Black Sisters Collective is a registered charity that has been providing a community-based provision for BAME and the wider community within the borough of Walsall for over 30 years. They work in partnership with statutory agencies and other voluntary organisations to meet the health and social needs of local people; ensuring that services are appropriate and sensitive and meet their identified needs.
We were celebrating a grant from the Community Lottery Funding for a project on vulnerable women. Cllr Eileen Russell councillor for St Matthews Ward was also present. Maureen Lewis has been working hard to secure funding to support women in the community and deserves credit for bidding for these funds for this project.
