I met with The High Commissioner of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Her Excellency Saida Muna Tasneem on 12 January 2023. Her Excellency has served as High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the United Kingdom since November 2018.

I had the pleasure of chairing a meeting between Rick Parry, Chairman of the English Football League (EFL), and MPs in the Midlands region. This was the sixth meeting the EFL has had with MPs, as the league are speaking about their proposals to each region that makes up the EFL.
