The Government continues to delay the vote on its EU Withdrawal Agreement.

On Monday 25 February 2019, I responded to the following motion in a Delegated Legalisation Committee: “That the Committee has considered the motion, That, in pursuance of paragraph 2A of Schedule 3 of the Parliamentary Standards Act 2009, Ms Cindy Butts be appointed as a lay member of the Speaker’s Committee for the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority for a period of five years from 1 March 2019 to 29 February 2024.”

I attended an event at Parliament on 27 February 2019 to support the Fairtrade Fortnight campaign in raising awareness of Fairtrade producers and understanding the difference that Fairtrade can make to people’s lives.

At 10 Downing Street, I attended the unveiling of the memorial stone for PC Keith Palmer on 20 February 2019.
