It is important that we get this Bill right, as with the right regulatory standards, we can reassure the public around precision bred plants and animals whilst providing an environment in which research and development can flourish.
I visited a drop in event for Fun Football in Portcullis House. Fun football is the largest provider of free football in the country, with a focus on expanding grassroots football. At the event I met with World Cup winner and England legend Sir Geoff Hurst.
