On 10 October 2017 I took part in an emergency debate on the Government’s policy in relation to the proceedings of the House of Commons. An emergency debate is a debate called at short notice in the House of Commons on a matter that should have urgent consideration. Below is my speech:

This week I support Baby Loss Awareness Week, which takes place 9-15 October 2017, to raise awareness about the issues surrounding pregnancy and baby loss in the UK, and to call for better bereavement care.

This has been a jaw dropping week of audacity by the Government. First with the Henry VIII powers under the EU withdrawal Bill to amend secondary legislation, fixing the composition on select committees against all the rules and conventions and not voting on a motion because the Government would lose.

Valerie opens Back2Fitness Physiotherapy Clinic

I was delighted to open the new Back2Fitness Physiotherapy clinic on Wolverhampton Road West on Saturday 16 September 2017. Back2Fitness Physiotherapy Walsall was set up in 2011 within a small room at a local hotel. It now boasts over 12 years of experience providing physiotherapy services to residents of Walsall, Wolverhampton and Birmingham.
