The Science & Technology Committee visited the Large Hadron Collider at the research facility in Cern.
On Wednesday 24 February 2016 I sponsored an exciting experiments event in Westminster to mark the 175th anniversary of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
I attended a welcome reception for the delegation from Mongolia, which was led by Mr Amarjargal Rinchinnyam, the former Prime Minister of Mongolia. He served as Prime Minister from 1999-2000, and was previously Foreign Minister. He was attending Parliament as a guest of the British Group Interparliamentary Union on Monday 22nd February 2016.

I visited the Inmarsat HQ in Old Street, London on the 22 February 2016 as part of the Industry and Parliament Trust Fellowship. Inmarsat was established in 1979 and has become an industry leader and pioneer of mobile and satellite communications. Inmarsat is working to examine the business model of affordability, providing connectivity to remote locations through their emerging markets programme.
