Valerie attended the Annual General Meeting of the Inter-Parliamentary Union which took place on the 4 December 2013.
Valerie attended the Diwali celebration at Palfrey Community Centre in Walsall.
On Wednesday 27 November 2013 Valerie arranged a meeting at the House of Commons with Mr Neil Chambers, Chairman of Darlaston Town FC and Mr James MacDougall of the Football Association.
On Tuesday 26 November 2013, the Health Select Committee, of which Valerie is a member, held an accountability hearing with Monitor.
On Tuesday 26 November 2013 Valerie asked the Secretary of State for Health, Rt Hon Jeremy Hunt MP, at Health Questions about the Department of Health returning a £2.2 billion underspend back to the Treasury.
