At Business Questions I raised that the Prime Minister did not say in her statement whether her deal would be brought back to Parliament. I asked the Leader of the House whether it is the Government’s intention to bring back a second meaningful vote to the House?

I attended  ‘A Taste of Cumbria’ at the Houses of Parliament on Wednesday 23 January 2019, an event showcasing produce from a beautiful part of our country.

I responded to the following Urgent Question to the Leader of the House on 22 January 2019:  “to ask the Leader of the House of Commons if she will make a statement on the obstacles to introducing proxy voting in Parliament.”

I have signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment, pledging my commitment to Holocaust Memorial Day and honouring those murdered during the Holocaust as well as acknowledging the extraordinary work carried out by Holocaust survivors to educate young people today. Sunday 27th January will mark the anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration and death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, the site of the largest mass murder in history.
