On Tuesday 18 March 2014, the committee held a scrutiny session with the with the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice.
On Tuesday 18th March 2014, Valerie asked the Minister of State for Justice, Simon Hughes, to clarify a response previously given to Valerie regarding family mediations at Justice questions in the House of Commons.
On Saturday 15th March, Valerie was present at the re-opening of the Broadway West Playing Fields for community sporting use.

On Thursday 13 March 2014, the committee heard evidence on the judicial review aspects of the Bill.
