Congratulations to all the hardworking staff at Palfrey Sure Start Children's Centre on South Street which has again been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted. This is Palfrey Sure Start's second consecutive Outstanding rating from Ofsted and it is testament to the hard work and dedication of the centre's staff. Palfrey is only Children's Centre in the Country to have achieved two Outstanding ratings.
My constituents have told me that for their assessments for Personal Independence Payments (PIP) they have to attend the assessment at 51 Lower Hall Lane. It seems that the ‘disabled access toilet’ and the entrances to the consulting rooms are too small for wheelchair users to access at the premises. I also understand that the access ramp at the front of the building is very steep. In addition constituents have told me that they have to climb stairs to access consulting rooms.

National Parks were created by the Labour Government in 1949. Each National Park is run by its own National Park Authority, which receives a grant from the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA). The funding for each park is based on its size, habitats and other factors. This grant has been cut in real terms by 36% since 2010.
