On Tuesday October 29 2013 at Foreign Office questions, Valerie Vaz MP raised the issue of recent violence in Burma.
Ed Miliband, Leader of the Labour Party and leader of HM Opposition, announced a new policy to freeze gas and electricity bills until 2017 if he became Prime Minister in 2015.
The Health Select Committee, of which Valerie is a member, heard evidence on the management of long term conditions from a number of leading academics and practitioners.
On Friday 25 October 2013, Valerie Vaz MP, Walsall South, launched the new 310 bus in Darlaston, which will connect Willenhall, Darlaston and Wednesbury with Dudley and the Merry Hill shopping centre.
On Thursday 24 October 2013, Valerie took part in a Westminster Hall debate on “Planning, Housing and the Countryside”, raising the issues of protection for the Green Belt, land banking and permitted development rights.
